Transnasal Skull Base Bur
Single-use Xishan bur for endoscopic endonasal skull base surgery — sheathed shaft, built-in irrigation and direct micromotor drive. Supplied in Bangladesh by Spine Care.
Endoscopic endonasal approaches leave no room for stray heat or an exposed shaft, and Xishan’s Transnasal Skull Base Bur (models LJMM / LJM / EJM) is engineered around exactly those constraints. The rotating shaft runs inside a protective sheath so only the cutting tip meets tissue, and integrated irrigation cools both the bur and the surrounding field as it works.
A curved profile keeps the instrument out of the endoscope’s line of sight, and direct connection to the DJ21 micromotor makes the tool light, quiet and precise in the hand. The single-use range covers 1–4.5 mm diameters and 120/190/200 mm lengths in diamond and stainless-steel tips.
It serves pituitary and sellar surgery, anterior skull base lesions, CSF-leak repair with skull base reconstruction, and selected vascular cases. Spine Care Bangladesh supplies it locally, direct from Xishan.
Sheathed for safety: the shaft spins inside a protective sleeve, keeping nasal and skull-base structures away from moving metal.
Cooled as it cuts: built-in irrigation controls heat at the tip, protecting adjacent tissue during long drilling phases.
Sight-line friendly: the curved design keeps the endoscopic view open instead of blocking it.
Direct drive: couples straight to the DJ21 micromotor for a quiet, lightweight, precisely controlled instrument.
Endoscopic endonasal skull base work — pituitary and sellar surgery, anterior skull base lesions, CSF-leak repair and reconstruction, plus selected vascular cases.
No — it is a single-use instrument, arriving sterile for every case and eliminating cross-infection risk.
It connects directly to Xishan’s DJ21 micromotor, which keeps handling light, quiet and precise.
