Some instruments earn their keep by doing one thing; Xishan’s High-speed Bur family (models DR / SR / CR / SM / SSA / SOA) earns it by covering nearly everything. From skull base tumour resection and microvascular decompression to laminectomy, ethmoidectomy, transsphenoidal pituitary surgery, mastoidectomy and ossiculoplasty, the same platform adapts across neurosurgery, spine, orthopedics and ENT.
The range spans 1–7 mm tip diameters on a slim 2.38 mm bore, in lengths of 70, 95, 125 and 150 mm. Six tip types — fine and coarse round diamond, round carbide, round stainless steel, oblique- and straight-fluted acorn, and match-head — let the surgeon pick the exact cutting behaviour a step requires. Angled handpieces (MSB2A-W series) reach 80,000 rpm and straight handpieces (MSB1A-Z series) 40,000 rpm, with MSB-FJ irrigation tubes keeping the field cool. Reusable and single-use versions are both available.
Spine Care Bangladesh carries the family locally, imported directly from Xishan.
