Xishan cutter/taper burs for craniotome work — 1.6 and 1.8 mm cutting heads in reusable and single-use versions, matched to the XJ6 craniotome handpiece. Supplied in Bangladesh by Spine Care.
The Cutter / Taper Bur (models XD / XD.DS) is the cutting element at the heart of Xishan’s craniotome system. Fitted to the Craniotome Handpiece XJ6 and guided by either the rotatable (XJHR) or fixed (XJHF) cutting guard, it turns the delicate task of opening the cranial vault into a controlled, repeatable manoeuvre.
The reusable line uses a 1.6 mm diameter bur in 12, 18 and 26 mm lengths; the single-use line offers 1.6 and 1.8 mm diameters in 16 and 18 mm lengths, packed sterile for each case. Together they cover the practical range of craniotomy footprints while the guard system protects the dura beneath the cut.
Spine Care Bangladesh keeps these burs in local stock, imported directly from Xishan.
Purpose-matched to the craniotome: designed as a system with the XJ6 handpiece and XJHR/XJHF guards rather than a generic bur pressed into service.
Dura protection built in: the guard footplate rides beneath the bone, shielding the dura as the cutter advances.
Two supply modes: autoclavable reusable burs or sterile single-use packs with an added 1.8 mm size.
