Bendable Bur Handpiece
Xishan’s MSBC-W bendable bur handpiece for transnasal skull base surgery — 0–36° stepless bending, 0–360° rotation and rigid stability at speed. Supplied in Bangladesh by Spine Care.
The Bendable Bur Handpiece (model MSBC-W) is what turns Xishan’s bendable bur family into a working system for transnasal skull base surgery. Built with a fixed 21° body angle, it bends its bur steplessly through 0–36° radially and rotates the working axis a full 0–360° — expanding the reachable field far beyond a straight instrument, while its rigid bending mechanism refuses to wobble or deform under high-speed load.
Speed depends on the paired micromotor: 4,000–20,000 rpm with the DJ6A or DJ21, and 10,000–20,000 rpm with the DJ4A or DJ20. It accepts three bendable bur types — round diamond, round stainless-steel and cylinder stainless-steel — in reusable and single-use versions, and the handpiece autoclaves for routine reuse.
Spine Care Bangladesh supplies the MSBC-W locally, direct from Xishan.
Rigid while bent: stable, deformation-free running at full deflection keeps delicate skull-base work predictable.
A wider field: stepless 0–36° bending plus 0–360° rotation reach corners conventional burs cannot.
Micromotor flexibility: pairs with DJ6A/DJ21 or DJ4A/DJ20 depending on the speed band required.
Autoclavable: simple sterilization keeps cross-contamination risk low.

Yes — with proper maintenance the handpiece withstands repeated autoclave cycles.
Choose by speed band: DJ6A or DJ21 for the full 4,000–20,000 rpm range, DJ4A or DJ20 when 10,000–20,000 rpm suffices.
