Xishan’s XJ6 craniotome handpiece — 20,000–40,000 rpm skull cutting with rotatable or fixed dura-protecting guards. Supplied in Bangladesh by Spine Care.
The Craniotome Handpiece (model XJ6) anchors Xishan’s craniotomy system. Handpiece, cutter and cutting guard work as one sealed unit, turning bone-flap elevation into a controlled, repeatable manoeuvre at 20,000–40,000 r/min with output adjustable from 50% to 100%.
Two guard styles are offered: a fixed guard for straightforward flaps, and a rotatable guard that turns through 360° — a real advantage when the cut must follow a tight radius. Cutters come in reusable and single-use versions, and the handpiece itself is autoclavable.
It serves craniotomy and keyhole neurosurgery across adult and paediatric lists. Spine Care Bangladesh supplies the XJ6 system locally, direct from Xishan.
System integration: handpiece, cutter and guard are engineered together, so skull cutting stays precise and efficient.
