Xishan’s JMSB1 handpiece drives bendable spinal burs with stepless articulation — built for foraminal and lateral-recess decompression in endoscopic spine surgery. Supplied in Bangladesh by Spine Care.
The Articulating Spinal Bur Handpiece (model JMSB1) is the drive unit behind Xishan’s bendable spinal bur system. It articulates the bur steplessly while a rigid “T-shaped” shaft keeps the cutting head steady, letting the surgeon work into the lateral recess and foramen — territory a straight instrument struggles to reach — with speed adjustable between 8,000 and 25,000 rpm under hand or foot control.
Protection tubes in 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 mm diameters shield nerve and dura along the approach and suit a range of endoscopes. The handpiece is fully autoclavable and accepts both reusable burs (LB / JZT) and single-use burs (LB.DS / JZT.DS).
Indications include foraminal and spinal stenosis from calcification, hyperplasia, deformity or fracture — especially lateral recess disease — lumbar lateral recess decompression and working-channel establishment under direct vision. Spine Care Bangladesh supplies it locally, direct from Xishan.
